How
Fill in the blanks, choose options from the drop down menus, or add your own text to personalise further – every option has the ability to add your own.
When you’re done, click the “show me my blog post” button. You can change the options in the generator and keep pressing the button to update. Then copy the text and paste it into your blog post.
You can reuse the blog generator for all your wedding blog posts.
Asking your couples for info
If you’d like to add supplier info, we recommend asking your couples about their suppliers and plans. We do this on the Day in Details form, at which also includes timings and locations etc for the day, so you can get it all done in one go. You can ask them: Where were your outfits from? Who were your other suppliers (to add to the end of your post)? What was your favourite part of your wedding and why? What made you choose your venue? What was the idea behind the styling/theme? What advice do they have for other couples? This will help you fill out the generator.
SEO
Choose a keyword or key phrase (something your ideal client will search). Use this keyword as one of the first words in your title, and at least once in the post intro paragraph. Make sure your url includes it too, when you come to add this to a post. Make sure the keyword appears around 3 or 4 times throughout the post.
We have added h1, h2 and h3 headings for you, in all the right places, which will help Google like you.
We have added supplier links, which Google loves. Don’t forget to set these to open in a new tab and it’s a great idea to let the suppliers know about the link so you can build a relationship.
What are the tick boxes for?
Of course you may not want to include everything in this template, so if there’s anything you don’t want to include just miss it out – you can do this by unticking the section.
