SUMMER WEDDING AT TYTHE BARN IN SUSSEX – JESS AND MATT
IF YOU’RE PLANNING A WEDDING AT TYTHE BARN IN SUSSEX, YOU’LL LOVE THIS WEDDING FOR INSPIRATION!
Jess and Matt got married at Tythe Barn, which is a quirky barn in Sussex with stunning grounds.
The ceremony was an intimate affair held in a walled garden, and the reception took place in the main barn. During the ceremony they had several beautiful readings from friends and family. It was such a personal service.
Tythe Barn is one of the loveliest places to have a wedding in Sussex – it is a very romantic setting for a wedding, and offers long weekend packages. There is also an orchard that’s perfect for photo ops. Weddings at Tythe Barn are amazing, because the surroundings are just incredible.

EAST QUAY KENT WEDDING – BECKY AND FRED
IF YOU’RE PLANNING A WEDDING AT EAST QUAY IN KENT, YOU’LL LOVE THIS WEDDING FOR INSPIRATION!
Becky and Fred got married at East Quay, which is a restaurant in Kent with ocean views. It was a gorgeous day and the sun shone all day long!
The ceremony
The ceremony was an intimate affair under a flower arch. During the ceremony they read their own vows. It was such a personal service.
They decorated the venue with so much colour, which I loved. The reception was in the main hall at East Quay – I love this venue because it’s near the beach. Weddings at East Quay are amazing, because the light is so pretty.
Why East Quay is a great place to get married
East Quay is perfect for couples who want a chilled out wedding, and is one of the coolest places to get married in Kent. The venue offers seriously good food – and there are loads of amazing places that are perfect for photos.
The reception
The couple had a cocktail drinks reception in the afternoon, and a live band in the evening. For dinner they had a slap up meal, and the first dance was to their favourite song. They finished off the evening with a sparkler exit.
The couple
Becky wore a lacy dress and Fred wore a burgundy suit and they looked really amazing.
The couple got in touch with me last year, and their enquiry was so fun. They said they wanted a photographer who would be like a guest, and I loved that they just wanted to party.
Advice for planning your wedding at East Quay
The staff know the venue so well – so ask them the best places to put decoration to make the most of the space.
“I think trying to keep things relaxed is probably one of the main reasons why we chose Anna. We both really like her style of photography and on top of that, she took absolutely amazing photos for my brother Patrick and his wife Hazel’s wedding a few years ago. She’s the best!”

RELAXED FESTIVAL WEDDING AT HOOKHOUSE FARM IN SURREY – ROSIE AND DAVE
IF YOU LOVE THE COUNTRYSIDE THEN YOU’LL FIND SO MUCH INSPIRATION FROM THIS FESTIVAL WEDDING!
Rosie and Dave got married at the rustic Hookhouse Farm, Surrey. It was a brilliant festival wedding, with paper cranes hanging from the ceiling and lawn games to keep guests entertained.
The ceremony
The ceremony took place outdoors, and was decorated with hay bales, which was lovely. The ceremony included the couple high-fiving. It was a romantic occasion, full of lots of laughter.
After the ceremony, we went down to the fields for the portrait photos, which is such a great time for the newly married couple to have some time to let it sink in, and I got some stunning photos in the shade of the trees. The weather at this festival wedding was all sunshine and blue skies, it was a beautiful day.
The reception
The reception was held in the gardens. The venue is perfect for weddings because it’s so cosy and relaxed, and it’s got such a rustic vibe, especially in the barn when the room is full of people having a great party.
For the reception, the couple had organised lawn games for their guests, and everyone had a blast. Guest were then called for dinner, which was a slap up meal – it was delicious.
The party
After the speeches, everyone got straight on the dancefloor, and the dancefloor was packed all evening. The Spotify playlist kept the party going all night.
The evening ended with Jagerbombs all round, which was so much fun, and everyone had a great time. The whole festival wedding was so laid back, from the romantic vows to the wonderful speeches.
Advice from the couple
Plan early and it’s largely stress free. Don’t attempt to string 1000 paper cranes with 2 weeks to go. Weddings take a village. Accept help, allow your skilled friends to do their thing. Find suppliers you are really excited about and trust them to make it the best day ever.
Why we chose you
“You have a ridiculously silly photo of 4 girls pulling faces with their faces smushed up against a window on Instagram. We saw this picture and instantly knew you were the one! We want a wedding that’s fun, informal and full of silliness and we thought that photo encapsulated it perfectly.”
I loved this festival wedding so much. If you’re getting married and looking for a wedding photographer, get in touch.

A STYLISH WINTER WONDERLAND WEDDING IN LONDON – LUCY AND TOM
IF YOU’RE PLANNING A WINTER WONDERLAND WEDDING, YOU’LL LOVE THIS WEDDING FOR INSPIRATION!
When Lucy and Tom first got in touch with me about their wedding, I was so excited – they were planning a stylish city wedding with a religious ceremony and a live band for the reception. Lucy and Tom are the sweetest people and I couldn’t wait to shoot their wedding!
Getting ready
I started at the Ritz hotel, where the bridal party was getting ready, and it was so chilled out, because everyone was in a good mood. Lucy wore a tea-length dress and Tom wore a burgundy suit and they looked really amazing.
The vows
The wedding took place at at St Peter’s Church, and was a stunning church ceremony. They had a beautiful reading, which brought pretty much everyone to tears. After the ceremony they walked down the aisle together, and then we did a confetti tunnel outside the church door.
The afternoon
The wedding reception took place Claridges London, which they’d decorated with tealights and candles and wildflowers. It was so beautiful.
It was a sunny, cloudless day, which was what the couple had hoped for. While the guests enjoyed drinks at the bar, we wandered around the venue doing fun and creative portraits. My favourite photo from our portrait session is the one with the fairy lights behind them. Check it out below!
During the reception they had a lovely meal with friends and family, which gave the afternoon a really chilled vibe. For dinner they had a roast dinner, and it was so yummy. Afterwards, they had some wonderful speeches and the guests made the most of the photobooth. They also had a homemade photobooth, which kept everyone entertained.
