We’re an online membership, but we love getting together in person too! For anyone who’s not yet a member and curious about what we do, this post is all about our ethos and the types of hangouts we hold.

As part of the Kick Ass Photographers membership we have a few members-only meetups throughout the year. They aren’t educational – they’re just for fun! There are so many workshops out there that we want to provide a fun space to hang out with fellow photographers, make new friends and do something fun.

The type of gatherings we plan are basically things Todd and I love to do. We’re not party people or big drinkers, and we attract members who are low-key geeks, a bit nerdy, often introverted and usually nervous to go to social gatherings. We also get extroverts who just love the same sort of things as us!

So we do fun things that get people meeting new folk, trying new things and having a laugh in a safe environment.
