Want to attract your ideal client and love your job as a wedding photographer? Do this...
I realised something while I was sat on the toilet this morning. It was the answer to the question "how can I get someone to remember me, forever?"
I had a friend at university called Nanna (she was Icelandic). We made a magazine together called Banter, which was like Buzzfeed and the Daily Mash rolled into one (many years before they came out). One of the features in the mag was 'things that drive you crazy'. Nanna's thing was when toilet roll paper is hanging the 'wrong' way - flat against the wall instead of hanging free. I didn't think much of it at the time.
It's been about 13 years since that day, but EVERY time I see the toilet paper hanging that way I think of her. So I think of her several times a day!

The cover of the mag I created with Nanna!
So how can you use this power for your business?
Post things that you love on Instagram, Facebook, your blog, your About Me page - the more unusual the better. Potential clients and past clients will see it, and every time they see that thing afterwards, they'll think of you. It's a very subtle but powerful way of staying in someone's memory!
Say you are obsessed with the way the local coffee shop makes a heart in the foam of your latte. Every time your potential or past client (think referrals!) sees that foam heart in their own latte they'll think of you. (You're going to think of me next time you see it now!)
YOU are the only thing TRULY unique about your business, and no one can be you. Use that to your advantage!
